School Path

O Program Caminho da Escola aims to renew, standardize and expand the fleet of school vehicles in the municipal, DF and state public basic education networks. Aimed at students residing primarily in rural and riverside areas, the Program offers buses, boats and bicycles manufactured especially for traffic in these regions, always aiming for safety and quality of transport.

There are three ways for federative entities to acquire Caminho da Escola vehicles: financial assistance from the FNDE within the scope of the Articulated Action Plan (PAR), according to budget availability set out in the Annual Budget Law; own resources; and BNDES credit line (except for bicycles). In any case, they must adhere to the respective minutes in the Price Registration Adhesion management system – Sigarp (www.fnde.gov.br/sigarpweb).
