Registration is open for the Programa Global de Empreendedorismo Social (Microsoft Global Social Entrepreneurship Program in English), from Microsoft.
O program tem o objetivo de fornecer a startups de impacto social free access to technologies para que possam inovar e se desenvolver. Serão oferecidas até dez vagas para empreendedores de impacto social e ambiental.
Registration can be made until February 4, 2022 via site. The page is available in English and you must have a LinkedIn account to register.
Chosen companies will receive up to $120,000 in credit on Azure products, Visual Studio Enterprise subscription, free access to Office 365 Business Premium and Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement. Plus, they'll have access to enterprise-grade Azure support and Microsoft engineers for personalized consultations.
Those selected will also participate in architecture classes, closed company events, and will have access to GitHub Enterprise.
REQUIREMENTS
- Internal goal that addresses a social or environmental challenge;
- Follow one or more Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from the UN;
- Have some elemento de ética responsável pelo impacto social.
- Have less than seven years of existence;
- Have until 25 million dollars in total annual revenue
- Being in the phase Semente, Série A, B ou C.

All Organizações de Impacto Social, from those who have had a spark of inspiration to those who are growing their business, are welcome to join Microsoft for the Startups Founders Hub. Learn more about our qualification criteria here.
How long does the application take?
Once you get started, it should take you about 10 minutes to complete your application so you can get back to working on your business.
What happens after I sign up?
We review all applications to assess whether our acceptance criteria have been met and will contact you when a final decision has been made. Although we are on limited sign-up, we are accepting new users on an ongoing basis. Response times may be delayed due to demand.
Why do I need to sign up with my LinkedIn account?
We believe that the Organizações de Impacto Social are only as powerful as your network. With LinkedIn, we can activate potential mentors, advisors, and investors to help you reach your next milestone.

OUR EVALUATION
Achei o programa interessante, mas só grandes players do Terceiro Setor com uma proposta de Startup terá chance de ser escolhida, ou seja, 95% das CSOs Brasileira estão longe dessa meta. É Claro que a proposta do programa é o desenvolvimento de uma parceria robusta e bem definida, mas acaba que pequenas organizações não possuem a mínima chance em um edital como esse.
Na verdade, parece-me aquele tipo de programa onde os interesses do Financiador é maior do que realmente beneficiar exclusivamente o empreendedorismo social. Mas convenhamos, realmente quem oferece uma oportunidade como essa objetiva ter algum ganho, correto, creio que não seja pecado isso.
Bem, desejo sucesso aquelas Organizações que possuírem capacidade para participar de um programa desse, geralmente essas não necessitam tanto de ajuda.
