Technology solutions and services provider Sonda recently announced the Launch of a solution that promises to assist the management and decision-making of city halls across the country through Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data and Analytics.
Created in Partnership with Lexicon Informática and SAS, the tool in question uses these technologies to reconcile key data from more than 10 research bodies, other spheres of government and city halls themselves to transform them into practical and easy-to-use information.
Through the tool, according to Sonda, managers can have more clarity for a multitude of public policy actions, since budgets are now prepared by crossing socioeconomic data.
In practice, the company highlights, this information can help define the distribution of school lunch funds, based on the application of rational criteria on the demand of the population of children, for example.

It is worth noting that the technology was developed after a survey of city halls and departments in several municipalities in the state of São Paulo, which helped to understand what the biggest challenges faced by managers were.
According to the organization, the new platform is personalized and capable of identifying problems and solutions according to the particularities of each municipality, and can be used in any region of the country and in locations of different sizes.
“We want to help cities be smarter. There is an infinity of data available within the government, but they only become relevant when they can contribute to better public policy decisions”, explains Vander Rogerio da Silva, from Sonda, who led the development of the Project.
