Description
The objective of this book is to present specific techniques for managing Non-Governmental Organizations and other types of Social Organizations non-profit within the Brazilian reality. The book is divided into three parts. In the first, reflections are presented on NGOs and the Third sector, as well as the legal aspects of creating an NGO, its social responsibility and the roles of agents of transformation in society. The second part of the book deals with social and environmental strategies within the context of organizations, presenting the main characteristics of the different types of companies and how each segment deals with these strategies. The third part addresses guidelines that help to understand the management of NGOs. In this part, a management model is presented, as well as tools and concepts that can guide the reader in this challenge: partnerships, financial strategies, information technologies and management indicators.
