It was extinguished through Law No. 13,204 of 2015, which amended sections of the MROSC and revoked Law No. 91 of 1935. This measure aimed to extend the benefits provided for by law to all non-profit organizations, regardless of the requirement to comply with formal and bureaucratic procedures for UPF certification and title.

State and municipal Public Utility Bonds, however, remain in force. The benefits granted to titled organizations vary according to local legislation, ranging from the possibility of tax deduction of certain taxes to permission to enter into partnerships with the Public Authorities.
