fundamental attribution error is a psychological way of assigning disproportionate weight to the internal characteristics of an agent (character, intentions, emotions, knowledge, opinions) to the detriment of external and situational factors (facts) in analyzing behavior or speech of a person in a given situation. On the other hand, this bias leads us to consider external and situational factors sometimes disproportionately compared to internal characteristics when we are at the origin of the situation.
