Control exercised internally by public bodies over the acts of public administration, within the scope of each Power, in the form of inspection and monitoring, of a budgetary, financial, accounting and patrimonial nature, with the objective of: a) evaluating compliance with the goals set out in the multi-annual plan and execution of government programs and Union budgets; b) prove the legality and evaluate the results, in terms of effectiveness and efficiency, of budgetary, financial and asset management in bodies and entities of the federal administration, as well as the application of public resources by entities governed by private law; c) exercise control over credit operations, guarantees and guarantees, as well as the rights and assets of the Union; and d) support the External Control in carrying out its institutional mission.
