Our theme here is specifically Fund-to-Fund Transfers and why is this system the most appropriate mechanism for Raising Resources for Small Non-Profit Institutions? And the most BASIC information is: because it is the SIMPLE MECHANISM for transferring resources from the Federal Public Power to Civil Society Organizations – CSOs, Non-Profit. It is SIMPLER, because it is a resource decentralization mechanism governed by specific laws that are characterized by DIRECT TRANSFER, between different government bodies, WITHOUT REQUIRING THE CELEBRATION OF AGREEMENTS, that is, INDEPENDENT OF THE CELEBRATION OF AGREEMENT, ADJUSTMENT, AGREEMENT OR CONTRACT. This last sentence is the BREAKTHROUGH, it is the key to understanding why Fund-to-Fund Transfers are so interesting for CSOs. It is a transfer of resources that does not require the formalization of an Agreement.
How successful is a pickup? It's not just about having a network. My network of relationships from yesterday may no longer be useful for my fundraising today. Building and developing the relationship network is part of the issue, the most important thing is to develop and maintain the Social Capital of the relationship, this requires constant effort and investment.
