MinC opens Notice for execution of cultural programming

The selected Organization will have R$ 1.5 million to carry out the Project

It is open Notice from the Ministry of Culture (MinC) for a Public Call for the Cultural Programming of the Maria da Conceição Moreira Salles Demonstrative Library (BDB), in Brasília-DF. The objective is to select a Organization of Civil society (THE C) to carry out the Library's Cultural Programming, covering commemorative events, artistic, educational and reading promotion activities. The investment to carry out the Project is R$ 1.5 million and registrations are open until 27 September.

“With this Notice We want to strengthen the library's mission as a space for culture, interaction and social construction, seeking to disseminate innovative practices and carry out diverse activities for the public”, said the Secretary of Training, Books and Reading (Sefli), Fabiano Piúba.

The selected CSO will plan and execute actions to encourage reading through Project specific cultural programming that includes artistic, literary, training and reading promotion and mediation activities such as: reading clubs, storytelling, literary events, dance shows, theater, music, creative writing workshops, seminars, lectures, among other actions to encourage reading and boost the library’s collection.

Proposals must be sent through the portal Transferegov.br and the evaluation of proposals will be conducted by a Commission of selection, following the steps set out in the Notice
