Specialized body that is part of the institutional structure of the Legislative House, with a thematic field of activity previously defined in the internal regulations. Generally with deliberative competence, it assesses the propositions or issues submitted for examination and also monitors government plans and programs and supervises the Union's budget within the scope of its respective field of activity.
