Acceptance of any gift is at Ingesto’s discretion. Ingesto will not accept any gift unless it can be used or spent in a manner consistent with Ingesto's purpose and mission.
No irrevocable gift, whether direct or for life, will be accepted if, under any reasonable set of circumstances, the gift would jeopardize the financial security of the donor.
Ingesto will refrain from providing advice on the taxation or other treatment of gifts and will encourage donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisors to assist them in the process of making their donation.
Ingesto will accept donations in cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of services in kind will be accepted at Ingesto's discretion.
Certain other gifts, real property, personal property, gifts in kind, illiquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is otherwise restricted, must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special obligations raised or responsibilities they may pose to Ingestion.
Ingesto will provide recognitions to donors who meet tax requirements for assets received by the charity as a donation. However, except for gifts of cash and publicly traded securities, no value will be attached to any receipt or other form of proof of a gift received by Ingesto.
Ingesto will respect the donor's intention regarding gifts for restricted purposes and those related to the desire to remain anonymous. With respect to anonymous gifts, Ingesto will restrict information about the donor to only those employees who have a need to know.
Ingesto will not compensate, whether through commissions, finder's fees or other means, any third party for directing a gift or donor to Ingesto.
